Neue XBox360 “Slim” vorgestellt
Auf der E3 wurde die neue Version der XBox360 vorgestellt.
Diese hat eine 250 GB Festplatte, WLan integriert und soll schon jetzt an (amerikanische) Händler ausgeliefert werden.
Die XBox360 soll auch weniger Strom verbrauchen und wesentlich leiser als die momentanen Modelle sein.
Der Preis bleibt wohl unverändert.
Die neue XBox360 soll ab 16. Juli auch in Europa verfügbar sein.

CYGNOS 360 V2 REV F CHIP
Der Cygnos360 V2.0 REV F ist ein an add-on PCB welches es ermöglicht den Nand der XBox360 per USB zu flashen. Sobald man den Cygnos360 v2.0 in die Xbox360 eingebaut hat, kann man ihn per USB mit dem PC verbinden.
Die neue Version F flasht den Nand viel schneller als jeder andere USB Programmer, da dieser direkt an den Nand Pins angelötet wird.
Wichtig ist, dass man die Box noch nicht auf Kernel 8xxx updated hat, weil mit diesem Update auch der Bootloader der Xbox360 erneuert wurde, welcher den JTAG Hack blockiert.

Der Cygnosumbau ermöglicht das Abspielen von Linux, Homebrew und Tools.
Über die USB-Schnittstelle an der Aussenseite können Sie selbst schnell und sicher Ihren Kernel Flashen.
(Geht wesentlich schneller als alle anderen Flashlösungen auf dem Markt)
Der Einbau beeinhaltet auch den Nandflash, Sie erhalten eine komplett fertige Lösung zur direkten Benutzung.
Bitte legen Sie Ihre Festplatte bei, dann installieren wir auch gleich die benötigten Tools.

XBox360 Slim Version
Es sind wohl erste Bilder des neuen XBox360 Slim Mainboards im Netz aufgetaucht.
Die GPU und CPU wurden in einem Chip vereint, was wohl auch eine menge Kosten spart.
Markant ist der Große (wohl langsam und leise) laufende Lüfter auf dem fetten Alu-Kühler.

iXtreme 1.61 Firmware für Liteon XBox360 Laufwerke released
Gestern Abend wurde die 1.61er iXtreme für alle Liteons (auch die 838V2 und 9345er) released.
Es werden nun auch Wave 4 und 5 Games unterstützt.
Am kommenden Silvesterdonnerstag und am kommenden Samstag (2.1.2010) haben wir geschlossen.
Ab nächsten Montag sind wir wieder für euch da.
US Marines reparieren deine XBox360 ;-)
